Accessibility means much more than ramps and elevators for wheelchair users, but also includes many other measures that support disadvantaged people. Think, for example, of accessible websites, easy-to-understand language, or even videos in sign language. And it's about even more: by raising awareness of the issue among as many people as possible, they create an important prerequisite for equal opportunities and participation for all. Because only if we realize and take into account that everyone has different needs, we can create an inclusive society where everyone feels accepted.<\/p>\n\n Universal design means designing products, services, and environments so that they are accessible and usable by all people, regardless of their abilities or limitations. It is not just about removing physical barriers, but also linguistic and cultural barriers that exclude certain groups. Universal design is intended to help ensure that as many people as possible are able to live and work independently and without assistance. <\/p>\n\n Universal design is intended to make life easier not only for people with disabilities, but also for senior citizens or convalescents with temporary limitations, such as after an accident or illness. Because in a modern society, all people have an equal right to an accessible environment.<\/p>\n\n One of the biggest technical challenges in universal design is making it as user-friendly as possible for everyone. It's not just about adapting colors, fonts and images, but also, for example, integrating special technologies for blind and visually impaired people. Using sign language videos or captions for deaf people can also be challenging. In addition, older people or people with physical limitations must also be taken into account, for example by integrating adapted navigation or larger buttons.
