Creative photos touch us, broaden our perspective, show life from an unusual angle and change our view of the world. Here we'll give you a few tips to help you develop your photography skills. They will help you take pictures that are not only technically good, but also visually appealing.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Correct \"seeing\" and \"recognizing<\/strong>\n        <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photography is not just about seeing something, but about recognizing the essence of a subject. For it is this visual awareness that enables us to develop an eye for interesting motifs, atmospheric lighting conditions and exciting compositions. Without visual awareness, we could not fully exploit the possibilities of photography. Take some time every day to perceive your surroundings with your eyes open and analyze what appeals to you visually. Write down or note what fascinates you about certain scenes, objects, or lighting conditions. Over time, you'll see patterns in your preferences. This way you can get a feel for what moves you as a photographer. This is an important step towards developing a visual language of one's own. A good example of outstanding visual awareness are the images of the US photographer (1902-1984) Ansel Adams. Because only it immediately directs the viewer's gaze to the essentials.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Basic composition rules<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several basic rules of image composition that help create visually balanced and appealing images. These include the rule of thirds, the golden ratio, and the use of lines and shapes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>rule of thirds <\/strong>states that an image is divided into nine equally sized square fields by two horizontal and two vertical lines evenly distributed across the image. The subject or main subject should be placed along one of these lines or at their intersections.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another design rule is the <strong>golden ratio <\/strong>. It is used<strong> <\/strong>also applied in art, architecture and design. It states that the division ratio of a distance or other quantity should be 1:1.618, because this is perceived by many people as particularly harmonious. Adams used this relationship to establish the point of view in his paintings, creating the harmony and balance that made his images so iconic.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Break rules<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although these rules are helpful guidelines for image composition, sometimes it is precisely their non-observance that can be particularly effective in image composition. For example, a portrait shot that places the face in the center of the frame (rather than following the rule of thirds) can create a sense of immediacy and connection with the viewer. Ultimately, photography, like any form of creative expression, is about representing our individual view of the world. Essentially, a distinction is made between wide-angle, normal and telephoto lenses. Wide-angle lenses have a short focal length and offer a wide field of view, making them ideal for landscape and architectural photography. Normal lenses have a focal length similar to the human eye and are particularly suitable for portraits and everyday photography. Their interaction significantly determines the exposure and appearance of an image.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aperture is an opening in your lens that determines how much light enters your camera. A large aperture (small f-number) lets in a lot of light and produces a shallow depth of field, while a small aperture (large f-number) lets in less light and produces a larger depth of field.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shutter speed determines how long the camera sensor is exposed to light. A fast shutter speed \"freezes\" a moving object, such as a splashing drop of water, and makes it appear sharp, while a slow shutter speed makes moving objects appear blurred (\"motion blur\"). Both can be appealing.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ISO value determines the light sensitivity of the camera sensor. A high ISO value makes the camera sensor more sensitive to light. This can be useful and helpful when there is little ambient light, for example indoors, but you still want to keep the shutter speed short. However, it should be noted that high ISO values can easily lead to \"image noise\".<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Choose the right setting<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For action-packed scenes, such as sports or wildlife, a fast shutter speed is required to \"freeze\" the motion in the image. In darker environments, you may need a higher ISO to achieve proper exposure. It is not for nothing that photography is also called \"painting with light\". For the photographer, it is therefore a matter of using the available light as well as possible for the composition of the image. Ansel Adams was a master of using light and shadow when he created his fascinating landscape photographs (see video above).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Dealing with different lighting conditions<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the light is harsh and unpleasant, try shooting in the shadows or use a reflector to soften harsh shadows. Because with a good image editing program, the photos as they come out of the camera can often be improved quite considerably.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Overview of popular image editing software<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a variety of image editing programs, of which Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop are among the most popular. These programs offer a variety of tools that let you adjust the exposure, color, sharpness, and many other aspects of your image. However, they are not \"magic boxes\" that can be used to compensate for serious technical deficiencies in shooting (unwanted blurring, under- or overexposure, etc.). They can only develop their full effect if the original image is good - and if you have familiarized yourself sufficiently with the program and its tools and possibilities.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>Basic machining techniques<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the basic editing techniques that every photographer should know are cropping, adjusting exposure and colors, and sharpening and noise reduction. Other important tools are the white balance and tone correction controls.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n          <strong>How important is image editing?<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Editing techniques are essential to realizing the full visual potential of your image. Because with the right editing, a good picture can almost become a work of art.
